PEOPLE IN WORK WOULD ASK WHY I'M SO RED WHICH MADE IT EVEN WORSE.I HAD LOTS OF TIME OFF WORK. I'D WAKE UP LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND GET BACK IN BED WITH A WET Towel on my face. i tried every cream going. zenmed, E45, anti redness creams. acupunture. diet changes. my doctor referred me 2 a dermatolagist. he gave me periactin. propanol which made me feel like a zombie. totally disconnected. all i wanted was 2 be white like before. It's amazing how much i changed metally because of BEING RED all the time. i had 2 IPL treatments with dr patterson. and all i can say is I'M BACK. i was expecting at least 5 visits. now It's under control i can start living. i can do all the things i used 2 do.like having a social life!.Before little kids we're calling me Red Rum in the supermarket. It's amazing how much i tried 2 devote my time 2 beating the redness. i still cant belive i look normal. yes normal! i dont stand out .now i look in the mirror less and less only cos It's a habit.i was scared of IPL making it worse. IPL has totally changed my life. if you can relate 2 what I've been through. i would'nt wait a minute longer searching the internet like i used 2. i'm only on this site now because it was reading other people's IPL treatments that persuaded me 2 book a consoltation yes It's expensive but priceless. i have had Hypnotherapy to deal with the mental side of it.only cos this redness made me feel doomed. like the fear i'm gonna be red forever even though i'm now normal. it Jst backs up the relief when i look in the mirror. dr patterson should have had an award 4 his work. He's given me my life back.
