In recent years hormonal changes have resulted in my acne becoming more cystic and this has led my skin to become more lesioned and red all over. I found this led to me becoming more depressed and asked my GP to refer me to a dermetologist. As a result of this it was suggested I try a course of Roaccutaine. I decided first to try alternative therapy's. Initially I tried accupuncture which for six months seemed to help, however over the last year my acne progressively got worse. Through supportive discussion with my GP it was suggested that IPL might help and I decided to try the clinic at Odiham. My pictures show my skin prior to treatment and after a third course of IPL and skin peel. The difference for me has been amazing! I find Karen and all the staff to be so friendly and realistic. Karen has been willing on every visit to show me the results of the last treatement photos and the current one's. Sometimes one is unsure if your hope for the improvement is reality. However by seeing my photos I am certain this treatment has been successful for me and I intend to continue with it, surprisingly for me I have been able, even within the four courses recommended to extend the time between treatments. I think a testimony to the sucess of this type of treatment for my type of acne. I would thoroughly recommend this type of treatment worth trying and certainly recommend the staff of the clinic to be supportive and caring.
