Rosacea / flushing / facial redness treatment report from: Anne Wilk Would they recommend this: Yes TreatmentType: Photoderm, view reports of all Photoderm treatments Details: Last year I had 3 sessions of IPL to treat my rosacea, which started at a time I felt at my wit's end to find a way to reduce the flare-ups of my skin, as well as the permanent redness of my nose and forehead. I also experienced regular acne-type break-outs on my nose in particular. With each session I could see a marked improvement in my skin- the general texture and tone, as well as a reduction of redness and frequency of breakouts. I have been amazed by the results and feel it was money well spent, after numerous flirtations with various products and regimes, many of which seemed to aggravate my condition. As a result I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from rosacea. I have just had my first annual top-up and as a result my skin is once again improved considerably. In the last year I have not needed to take any antibiotics and have not even needed any topical creams until the last couple of months prior to the latest treatment. It has been a blessing to have been able to "forget" I have rosacea- I do not think anybody looking at me now would know how bad it once was or believe how much time I had to spend disguising the redness and eruptions. I am really delighted with the results.
